9:45PM BIG JOE LOUIE: Big Joe Louis was born in Jamaica, West Indies, and moved to the UK during the 1970s. 1998 and 1999 brought two invitations to play in the USA, leading to exceptional reviews. A ground-breaking tour of Norway and Russia (filmed for Russian TV) in October 1993 brought blues to the north of Russia for the first time and a 1996 trip to Bulgaria was enthusiastically received. Big Joe Louis And His Blues Kings have recorded radio and TV sessions worldwide and the last 2 years have seen trips to South Africa, Poland, Finland, France, Belgium.

11:30PM THE CAMDEN CAT: THROUGHOUT HIS CAREER, FRONTMANT DANIEL JEANRENAUD has shared a bill, and hung out with the likes of; Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, Bo Diddley and more with his first band to break into the industry ‘The Kingsnakes’ – which he formed with several members of American cult punk band ‘The Flamin Groovies.’ Chuck Berry even named Daniel’s favourite Gibson guitar ‘Nadine’ after borrowing it on tour at Bill Grahams ‘Old Waldorf’ in down town San Francisco. The Kingsnakes parted ways in the mid nineties, playing their last show at the Olympia in Paris with ‘Screamin’ Jay Hawkins’ Since then Daniel has been the man behind a legendary 12 year residency at the Marathon in Camden Town attracting the likes of; Paul Weller, Jarvis Cocker, Liam & Noel Gallagher, and Amy Winehouse to the crowds.
