Concert Hall: Newen Afrobeat

A night of irresistible colours and rhythms comes to Manchester with the very first afrobeat band to come out of Chile’s thriving music scene.

Chile’s afrobeat ambassadors celebrate the launch of their fourth album, a homage to the great Fela Kuti.

Featuring collaborations with Fela’s son Seun as well as the UK’s own afrobeat pioneer Dele Sosimi, the 13-piece groove machine put a Latin stamp on some of the world’s most timeless sounds with incendiary live performances leaving audiences stunned the world over.

Doors to the Concert Hall open upstairs at 7pm.
